We are born to die someday.
それなら何故、何の為に生きているのだろう。
Why are we alive?
立派な仕事をするため？
For the great work,
さまざまな経験をするため？
To experience various,
たくさんの人と出会い、愛する人を見つけるため？
To meet someone, someone to love,
自分の足跡を残し、後世に何かを伝えるため？
To leave something for the future,
それとも理由なんてない？
Or is there no reason?
生きている意味は人それぞれ違うだろう。
Everyone will be different for each meaning of life.
大切なのは自分の生き方を探し続け、自分が何をしたいのか行動し続けることだ。
Keep on looking for my life, I want to continue to act or what you are doing.
そのときそのときで人生は変わる。
One day life will change.
いったい自分は何処へ向かおうとしているのだろう。
I wonder where are you going.
若い頃、上へ上へと挑みたがる自分がいた。
When young, I wanted to top Go to top.
そのためには孤高でいることも、目標への近道だと思っていた。
I thought it a shortcut to the goal is to become independent.
けれど、他人が自分のことをどう思っているのか本当は気になっていた。
To tell the truth, I wonder that there are other people think about me.
ときには大切なものを守る為に、勇気を奮い立たせて立ち向かうこともあった。
Sometimes I fight to protect something precious.
待っているだけでは何も変わらないことに、なかなか気づかなかったんだ。
Just waiting to be no different, it took some time to understand.
やりきれなくて心が折れかけたこともある。
I was so discouraged sometimes lost.
自分の道は曲がりくねっている。
Life is a winding road.
だから、ずっといつまでも、人生をまっすぐ見つめる眼差しを持ち続けていたい。
So I want to face life straight forever.
